Penrith Performing & Visual Arts (PP&VA) is on the hunt for a Venue Coordinator. This is an ongoing part time role with a regular roster including some weekend work and evenings.
Reporting to, and supporting, the Venue Manager in PP&VA’s Operations team, the Venue Coordinator plays a support role across the venue administration team.
The Venue Coordinator:
• Assists in all aspects of the Venue Hire business;
• Acts as Venue Supervisor in need to run events;
• Assists the Penrith Conservatorium team in a customer service capacity in need
• Oversees cash handling;
• Ensures that EEO, WH&S, RSA, Child protection, LPA and all applicable legal requirements and industry benchmarks are adhered to through practices at the venue.
This role calls for exceptional customer service abilities, efficient capabilities to set up events and highly competent administrative skills.
The role based at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith.
All staff must be fully vaccinated in line with Public Health Order requirements for safe reopening of entertainment venues. Please be prepared to provide your proof of vaccination.
