Unleash your creativity and make the most of the summer holidays at Penrith Regional Gallery and The Joan — where fun and inspiration await for all ages!
Join Penrith Regional Gallery this December and January for a variety of hands-on art workshops for children aged 3 – 12. From crafting panther puppets to drawing with charcoal and creating glittering treasure boxes, each session is guided by an experienced artist educator. Plus, enjoy a special visit to one of the Gallery’s current exhibitions, and don’t miss the festive Christmas Crafts workshop on December 19 — perfect for creating one-of-a-kind handmade gifts and decorations.
Immerse yourself in the sensory-friendly shadow puppet performance Shadow House at The Joan. This enchanting show invites you into a magical tent, where captivating stories and stunning visuals will delight and mesmerise the whole family.
For those looking to develop their performing arts skills, Q Theatre’s summer program at The Joan is jam-packed full of interactive workshops and masterclasses and is open to children, adults, HSC students, and teachers alike. Led by a mix of local, national, and internationally acclaimed artists, the program covers everything from musical theatre and improvisation to storytelling, character building, set design, Suzuki training, monologues, and film.
With so much to see, create, and experience, the summer holidays at Penrith Regional Gallery and The Joan promise something special for everyone.
